CPET NLCM
In 2019, the American Personal Safety Institute partnered with Op Four Training Group to develop the first comprehensive defensive tactics system designed specifically for private security officers. Close Personal Engagement Tactics (CPET) became a standardized, widely accepted use of force model and has shaped the way private security personnel apply use of force options. The CPET Nonlethal Compliance Measures (NLCM) course is a combination of all nonlethal/less-than-lethal weapons commonly used in private security in a civilian environment, including OC/CS pepper spray and expandable baton. Certification issued upon successful completion.
